Generative AI

They have transformed the ability to convert different input types, such as text-to-image, speech-to-text, text-to-audio or text-to-code. Some systems, like GPT-4 or CLIP, handle both images and text, enabling users to input data in one format and receive an output in another (e.g., generating a text summary of a complex image). Effective prompt engineering is key to maximizing the quality and relevance of the outputs, as the structure and clarity of the prompts significantly influence the results.

Groupthinking

Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon where a group of individuals prioritize acceptance and consensus over critical thinking and objective decision-making. This often leads to poor judgments and a suppression of dissenting opinions. Cognitive causes of groupthink include confirmation bias (favoring information that aligns with the group's views), conformity pressure (the desire to fit in), and overconfidence in collective knowledge (believing the group is inherently correct).
